setting up mac from scratch

  1. First thing install Google Chrome, or brave, arc, zen, dia, anything but just don’t use safari(please).
  2. increase key repeat speed, trackpad speed, trackpad stiffness and gestures.
  3. Install brew.
  4. iterm2, omz.
  5. Install nvm, then using nvm install node.
  6. setup ssh keys.
  7. Download torrent client.
  8. setup the dock
  9. code editor - cursor, vs code, nvim and aurdrino ide.
  10. download databases (mongo, postgres)
  11. vpn.
  12. docker
  13. other tools - xnip, postman, mongoDbcompass, redis insights,
  14. download whatsapp and telegram.
  15. VLC, obsidian, zoom.
  16. cli tools xcode, android studio.
  17. GCC (fuck clang).
  18. alfred, raycast
  19. install tunnels
